The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Director of Operation to oversee daily operational activities at every level of an organization. This person will audit the existing procedures and execute strategies to optimize the company’s growth and performance. Working together with key team members to spearhead strategies to steer the company’s future in a positive direction.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Coordinating with other teams to implement strategies and cross-training efforts.
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives across the organization
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Manage data collection for updating operations metrics to achieve productivity targets and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Creating presentations and communicating with executives about plans and strategies.
  • Monitoring changing market conditions and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure the quality of their company’s products and services meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Conducting interviews with prospective candidates.
  • Employing various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities.

Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
  • Five or more years of proven experience in an operations management role
  • Knowledge of general business software and an aptitude for learning new applications
  • Working knowledge of management software programs, including Monday.com, Jira, Hubspot, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and CenterPoint Payroll
  • Strong IT skills, including database development
  • Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience
  • Someone who cares about their practice and brings passion to every project
  • An egoless learner who is open-minded and proactive
  • Possesses a collaborative, team-focused working style, and is an excellent communicator
  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
