Meaning Of Personal Information

“Personal information” means information about an identifiable individual. This information may include but is not limited to, your name, mailing address, e-mail address and telephone number.

Personal information does not include any business contact information that is used solely to communicate with you in relation to your employment, business or profession, such as your name, position name or title, work address, work telephone number, work fax number or work electronic address.

What Information We Collect

The information we may collect about you varies depending on how you interact with us, our Site, and the requirements of applicable law.., The personal information we collect falls into the following categories (not all of which may apply to you).

VoPay may collect personal information, such as your first and last name, business email, phone number, and information about how to contact you, when you request information or to contact our sales team, register for our newsletter, request customer or technical support, apply for a job, or otherwise communicate with us.

Social Media Platforms. Our Site may contain social media buttons, such as Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, which might include widgets such as the “share this” button or other interactive mini-programs). These features may collect personal information such as your IP address and which page you are visiting on our Site and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Your interactions with these platforms are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it. 

Aggregated And Anonymized Information We Collect

General, aggregated, de-identified demographic, and non-personal information may be collected by us through our Site, but any such information will not be linked to any of your personal information. This type of anonymous, aggregated profiling and session data may include information that you have provided to us through surveys, polls, etc., and may also include aggregated information about our Site’s usage.

Retention Of Personal Information

We will use, disclose or retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which that personal information was collected, provide you access to our Site, resolve disputes, establish legal defences, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce our agreements, comply with, and as permitted or required by applicable law. Third-Party Websites and Services

This Privacy Policy applies only to our Site.  It does not extend to any websites, products, social media platforms or services provided by third parties.  

There may be times when a third party may ask to collect your personal information themselves. These third parties can include advertisers and third-party service providers and payment processors. When you provide your personal information to such third parties, they will use your personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies and not this Privacy Policy. These third-party services are not controlled by us. Therefore, you should read their privacy policies carefully before providing them with your personal information. We do not endorse, screen, or approve, and are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties, and we encourage you to review all third-party privacy policies prior to using third party websites or products or services. International Transfer and Storage

Your personal information may be transferred, stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage third-party service providers. In accordance with applicable law, you may have the right to make a written request to delete or review any personal information about you that we have collected, used or disclosed, and we will provide you with any such personal information to the extent required and/or permitted by law.  You may also request corrections to your personal information. If you successfully demonstrate that your personal information in our records is inaccurate or incomplete, we will amend the personal information as required and/or permitted by law. Opting Out of Communications

We will endeavor to respond to your opt-out request promptly, but we ask that you please allow us a reasonable time to process your request.  Please note that if you opt-out from receiving marketing-related emails, we may still need to send you communications about your use of our products or other matters you have requested. We may also send you certain non-promotional communications regarding us, and you will not be able to opt out of those communications (e.g., communications regarding our Site or updates to our Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy).

This Privacy Policy is current as of the “updated” date which appears at the top of this page.  It may be modified or updated from time to time.  When changes are made to this Privacy Policy, they will become immediately effective when published in a revised Privacy Policy posted on our website unless otherwise noted.   If there are any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
